Ryan Reid
Executive Chairman
Ryan Reid is the Co-Founder, President and CEO of First Rock Group. Mr. Reid brings 15 years of experience in the Real Estate and financial sectors, with eight years at the executive level in the financial sector. Throughout his career, he has had responsibilities of leading sales, services, accounting, investments and corporate finance teams.
Mr. Reid studied at the University of the West Indies, Jamaica and the University of Wales, Cardiff, Wales, where he pursued a Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance and a Master’s in Business Administration in General Management, respectively. He also studied at Wharton Business School, Philadelphia, with a focus on Distressed Asset Investing and at the Harvard Business School with a focus on Creating Shareholder Value. He is a member of the First Angels Investor Group and the Young Presidents Organization (YPO). He is a director of multiple private and public sector companies. He is also a Justice of the Peace for the Parish of St. Andrew.

Dr. Michael Banbury

Dr. Michael Banbury is a Medical Doctor with a speciality in Primary Care and Diabetology. Dr. Banbury is a graduate of the University of the West Indies School of Medicine, where he earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (M.B.B.S) and the Wharton Business School, where his focus was on Distressed Asset Investing. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health (F.R.S.P.H).
Dr. Banbury serves at the Board level of various Private and Public sector entities and brings a wealth of management and business development experience. He is also a Co-founder of FirstRock Capital Holdings Limited.

Shaun Myers
Director
Shaun Myers is the Group Vice President of Finance & Planning of FirstRock Group. Prior to this he was the Regional Financial Analyst at Unicomer Group, the largest retail firm in the Caribbean. And prior to that, he was the Senior Accountant at Proven Management Limited. Shaun brings to the fore 9 years of experience in the financial and retail sectors.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance from the University of the West Indies and the ACCA professional certification. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica. He is currently the Treasurer of the Liguanea Community Development Committee.

Jordan Chin
Director
Jordan is an Attorney-at-Law admitted to practice in Jamaica and a licensed Real Estate Agent of over 10 years. He has practised extensively in Real Estate and Commercial law having worked with distinguished law firms in the country. Immediately prior to joining FirstRock, he was an attorney at DunnCox Law firm. He is responsible for First Rock’s Legal and Compliance framework; he applies his expertise gained to provide valuable advice and insight.
Jordan holds a Bachelor of Laws degree with honors and an Associate Degree in Computer Science. He is a member of the Realtors Association of Jamaica, the Jamaican Bar Association, a director in numerous private companies and sits on various strata committees.

Christina Garel

Christina J. Garel Robinson is currently the Group Assistant Vice President – Operations for FirstRock Capital Resource Limited. She brings a wealth of knowledge in Financial Operations, with a focus on Business Process Streamlining. Prior to this, she held the position of Business Credit Analyst for 5 years at American Express, a Fortune 500 Company in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Christina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the accredited University of Charleston in Charleston, West Virginia. Christina also studied at Florida International University where she completed the Executive Management Leadership Program and has been trained in Corporate Governance, Anti-Money Laundering, Counter Financing of Terrorism & Proliferation. In December 2021, Christina was commissioned to be a Notary Public for the State of Florida and is also slated to be commissioned as a Justice of the Peace for St. Andrew, Jamaica.
